I went to the Marilyn Minter lecture tonight as part of SCAD's deFINE Art Series.
OMG

Marilyn was very personable and funny, though not the most dynamic or polished speaker. She basically gave the audience a narrated retrospective of her work--including showing some newer pieces in progress.
During the Q&A section, I got to speak about my experience at Stephens with my infamous powerpoint presentation. Her response was along the lines of "I think it's sad that women cannot own their own sexuality. Hopefully your generation will change that".
I also got her to autograph my program.
